Shirley's Potpourri is named after my mother, Shirley Eubank. In 1993, she and my step father, John Derrick were selling antiques and were trying to draw attention to an antique glass bowl. My mom created a rose scented potpourri to put in the bowl. More people asked about the potpourri than the bowl and Shirley's Potpourri was born. Mom went on to create 3 signature scents that are still the backbone of our company; Apple Jack (cinnamon), Orange Blossom (citrus) and Santa Fe (vanilla & pumpkin spice). In 2000, my husband Casey and I, Summer Smith, took over the business and continued the legacy that my parents had created. We are so proud to offer a quality, handmade product. Our potpourri is made with fresh apples and oranges that we hand slice and and mix or string together in our warehouse in Canton, Texas. We use top of the line oils for our refreshers that when saturated by our dehydrated fruits and vegetables, combine to create a strong, long lasting fragrance that is a Shirley's Potpourri signature.
