About Our Company

Started by Shirley Eubank and John Derrick, Shirley's Potpourri began as a part-time enterprise in 1993. After creating a custom potpourri for a family member's wedding that caused a real buzz, both Shirley and John saw a business opportunity. Focusing on quality ingredients and fragrant, long-lasting scents, they started selling their custom blended potpourris at local arts and crafts shows meeting with immediate success. Between 1994 and 1997, Shirley's Potpourri refined their products as they gained a reputation for the most beautiful and aromatic potpourris available.

All ingredients are specifically chosen to add to the beauty of the products. We never use wood chips, grasses, roots, barks, or fillers as they not only detract from the overall appeal, but they also reduce the ability of the Potpourri to maintain its fragrance. Our customers have come to expect a unique blend of dried fruits, seeds, and herbs.

All of Shirley's fruit is hand sliced and dried in dehydrators built by our company engineer. Our process is unique and consistently produces some of the most beautiful fruit available on the market. No other potpourri contains the volume or quality of fruit of Shirley's. This lends to the products overall attractiveness and ability to maintain its fragrance. All of Shirley's oils are uncut and uniquely blended to provide each potpourri and garland with the longest lasting scent possible.
